Gmail from Android 4.2


Over the last few weeks, everyone has been talking aboutrumors about Android 4.2 and the . Sadly, as most know by now, many of those rumors were hoaxes. Thankfully, the oneslook to be pretty legitimate.


While the may not have a relse date yet, you can try out some Android 4.2 goodness right now...


XDA Recognized Contributor mrmako777 has posted a thrd that guides users through the installation process for the latest Gmail appliion. How new is it? It’s from a version of Android that hasn’t actually been relsed yet. The Gmail APK is from Android 4.2, and it’s pretty much everyone’s first glimpse at the latest version of Android.

Installation is pretty sy, but you may need root. You have to uninstall your current Gmail app. If it is a system app, you’ll need root to get rid of it. Once it is gone, install the new Gmail APK. That’s it. Ftures for the new Gmail include:
